Florida lawmaker Sen. Jeff Brandes has filed legislation to change the rules surrounding when a restaurant patron can take home a partially-consumed, resealed bottle of wine. Currently, the customer must have purchased a full course meal and carry a dated receipt showing the same.  The legislation would still require that the open bottle of wine be resealed and stored in certain areas of the car such as the glove compartment or trunk, but does away with the need to show a full course meal was purchased.
